Which is the most beautiful beach in Gran Canaria? This is a very difficult question because we have so many different beaches here ... We have mostly sandy beaches but there are also rocky beaches in the beautiful bays. Beaches in most have yellow sand but there are also beaches with almost white sand (unfortunately brought from the Bahamas) but with black sand as well. Gran Canaria has kilometers of different beaches ... On one beach you can find a strong wind on the other, you can find peace and quiet while enjoying the azure waters and calm ocean. One beach is miles away and the others are buried in lovely coves. In our opinion these are the best ...
Playa Amadores located in a beautiful bay between Puerto Rico and Tauro. White sand with Bahamas, azure ocean water and always calm ocean. Beautiful sandstone mountain surroundings. It has very good infrastructure, toilets, shops, restaurants, bars and attractions for children - slides to the water and more. Unfortunately, it is quite expensive to rent anything. There are always lots of people but there is very large parking and easy access to the beach.
Anfi Beach is located in a beautiful bay just behind the Arguineguin at the Hotel Anfi del Mar. White sand with Bahamas, azure ocean water and calm ocean and beautiful rocky surroundings. Lots of fun activities for children (slides, play area), lots of shops, bars, restaurants. Watching the view of the beach from above, it feels like you've seen a little piece of paradise... Very very many people ... but beach is dreaming for children and adulds.
Maspalomas Beach, Playa del Ingles and Meloneras are actually one long long beach for over 10 km with wonderful dunes, something beautiful. You have to see that. You have to enter the center of the dunes and feel like in the desert ..... The ocean is not calm here. Usually there are waves but if someone enjoys having fun in the waves the beach is perfect. In the evenings lots of people walk along this beautiful long beach.
And amazing Dunes in Maspalomas... a sand, a sand and more the sand.
